Who we are

This Privacy Notice describes how Verdili ("Verdili", "we", "us") handles personal data collected through the Verdili general-wellness app and website at verdili.com. Verdili acts as the data controller for personal data processed in connection with your account. You can reach us at support@verdili.com.

Categories of personal data we collect

Account data: name, email address, login credentials, authentication provider identifiers.
Wellness data you enter: profile details, daily check-ins, meals, hydration, activity, sleep, weight and body metrics, optional lab values, and free-text notes.
Support data: messages you send us, support tickets, and feedback.
Usage and device data: log data, device identifiers, IP address, browser type, and interaction events used for security, debugging, and product analytics.
Order data: plan selected, subscription status, and billing history. Card details are collected and stored by our payment provider (see "Sharing" below), not by Verdili.

Purposes and legal bases

Provide the service (create your account, generate your Daily Signal and weekly reports, deliver Premium/Family features) — performance of a contract.
Support and communications (answer tickets, send transactional emails about your account and subscription) — performance of a contract.
Security, fraud prevention, and service integrity — legitimate interests.
Product improvement and aggregated analytics — legitimate interests. We do not use your personal wellness data to train third-party AI models.
Legal and regulatory compliance (tax, accounting, responding to lawful requests) — legal obligation.
Optional marketing communications — consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Sharing your data

We share personal data only with the following categories of recipients:

Merchant of Record — Paddle. Our payments and order process are handled by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), which acts as the Merchant of Record for all Verdili orders. Paddle processes your payment, subscription management, invoicing, tax compliance, and payment-related customer service. Paddle's own privacy notice is available at paddle.com/legal/privacy.
Infrastructure and service providers (hosting, database, email delivery, analytics, error monitoring) acting as our processors under written agreements.
Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
Authorities where required by law or to protect our rights or the safety of users.

We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some of our processors are located outside the UK/EEA. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

Data retention

Account and wellness data: retained while your account is active and deleted (or anonymised) within 90 days of account deletion, unless we are required to keep it longer.
Order and tax records: retained by Paddle and by Verdili for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law (typically 6–10 years).
Support messages: retained up to 24 months after the ticket is closed.
Security and audit logs: retained up to 12 months.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, to portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email support@verdili.com; we aim to respond within one month.

Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, row-level security on our database, and least-privilege administration — to protect your data.

Cookies

Verdili uses strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies for authentication and security, and limited first-party analytics to understand product usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
